Plymouth v South Hants

(21-25, 16-25, 25-15, 19-25)

Well done to South Hants for winning their second match in the season!

Despite not performing at their best, they beat the opposition 3 sets to 1. With some good passing and hitting the girls won the first two sets quite convincingly 25 -21 and 25 -16. Only in the third set South Hants seemed to loose their concentration and after a very slow start and many mistakes, never really managed come back in the game and lost the 3rd set 15-25.

The girls managed to put their heads together again in the 4th and final set and, with some very hard spikes by Blanka Wood and Tony Lee, managed to overcome the very strong defense of the opposition and win the game 25-19 being the score in final set..

Welcome to Chieko Ishihara (former Swiss Cottage), who just joined the team, but already impressed everybody with her technique and accuracy.
